Double Triumph for CKS College as Alumni Top Government Licensure Exams

Chiang Kai Shek College has been abuzz with good news from recent national government licensure examinations. Following the success in the Landscape Architecture Licensure Exam this past July, another achievement came in August with the Mechanical Engineering Licensure Exam.
Alumni Pauline Kristy Yeo Go and Raphael Brent Lau Hundangan both secured 2nd Place in their respective Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) licensure board examinations. Within just two months, two alumni were among tonotchers in two different national licensure exams—an outstanding testament to the quality education offered by CKS College, and a source of great pride for the entire CKSian community.
Pauline Kristy Go Shines in Landscape Architecture, Ranks Nationwide Second
Pauline Kristy Y. Go is a graduate of Senior High School Class of 2019. She studied at CKS College from preschool through elementary, junior high, and senior high, receiving a thorough and solid basic education. In the July 2026 computerized licensure examination for Landscape Architects, she placed second nationwide. In 2024, she graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors from the University of the Philippines Diliman, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture. This latest achievement further highlights her strong professional competence and diligent spirit.
Raphael Brent Lau Also Places Second in Mechanical Engineering Examination
Raphael Brent Lau Hundangan completed Junior High School from the Class of 2017. He studied at CKS College from preschool through elementary and junior high, completing a rigorous basic education, before transferring to Mapúa University for senior high school and college. During his university years, he demonstrated exceptional academic performance and a disciplined approach to learning, earning both a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In the August 2026 Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination, he secured the second-highest score nationwide, drawing on his deep professional knowledge and calm composure during the exams.
Family Support and CKSian Foundation Forge Success
Both alumni grew up under the careful guidance of their parents and in warm family environments that cultivated values of self-discipline, perseverance, and diligence. These strong family foundations—together with the rigorous academic training and holistic education they received at Chiang Kai Shek College—provided them with a stable knowledge base and enduring determination. These enabled them to excel in their respective fields and achieve outstanding results in the national board exams.
Within two short months, these two alumni have secured second place in two distinctly different professional licensure exams—Mechanical Engineering and Landscape Architecture. This is not only a testament to the personal efforts of Pauline Kristy Go and Raphael Brent Hundangan, but also a reaffirmation of CKS College’s educational philosophy of emphasizing wholistic academic growth. Their dedication to learning and pursuit of excellence set a fine example for current students.
